submissions are open, here is everything you need to know!

What is the Enby Zine Distro???

It is a curated, portable zine display full of free informational, educational, and artistic zines by and about non-binary folks and issues! The debut of the EZD will be in February and March of 2025 as a CENTERPIECE for the Her Art/Their Art exhibition.

SUBMISSIONS FOR ZINES ARE NOW OPEN!

1. If you are a non-binary, genderfluid, or gender non-conforming human (or group of folks!) you are welcome to submit your zine or zine idea.

2. Submissions are free, and you can submit multiple zines.

3. The zines should be based on 8.5"x11" paper, whether that's a four fold, star fold or book fold (or any other variation!), and in black and white.

4. If your zine covers one of these subjects, it may be selected as a “featured zine” and will pay $100:
   what is a non-binary gender?

   how to ask and use correct pronouns

   gender non-conforming history

   singular they is grammatically correct!

   questions not to ask / how not to react

   civil rights violations of non-binary people

   what do I say instead of "sir", "ma'am", "uncle", etc etc

   what's the harm in misgendering?
   suggested reading lists
   personal origin story of realizing gender identity

5. You may also submit a zine on any topic! And please do! I’m working on procuring more funding for zine contributors!

6. Entry is free, deadline is Feb 1, 2025.

All zines accepted for the Enby Zine Distro will have copies printed by me, at no cost to the author/creator(s). All rights remain with the author/creator(s).

Can’t make the deadline but are still interested in participating? GO AHEAD! While we debut in February, the Enby Zine Distro will continue and be hosted in other spaces over 2025. There will also be more opportunities to engage with community in panels and performances as part of the wider “I am They” project.
